The PDK: Vetevendosje is the only cause of crisis, as it avoids governing responsibility

The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) remains convinced that responsibility for forming new institutions belongs to the election winner, and underlines that this sound concept in Kosovo’s new democracy should not be undermined.

The PDK has been constructive by accepting election results and by going in opposition immediately after the end of the voting process. It has not filed any appeal with the Supreme Court in order to delay certification of electoral process. Yet, it also clearly left itself out of any equations and governing talks, by unequivocally stressing and reaffirming that it will stay in opposition.

“Therefore, any attempt of Vetevendosje for finding excuses or alienating responsibilities for this delay is unacceptable. This political party is the main cause for current delay and ending of this crisis is entirely up to them. The government has resigned on 29 July last year.  For 106 days the blame and destiny for the new government remains just in the hands of Vetevendosje,” the PDK announcement underlines.

According to the PDK, Albin Kurti and Vetevendosje should assume the governing responsibilities, while   the citizens of Kosovo will soon understand deception and illusion they’ve cultivated, as well as the failure of ideas they’ve promoted. The PDK, as an opposition party, will hold them accountable and will not allow them undo achievements of the Republic of Kosovo so far.
