The coronavirus: Shpend Ahmeti says that closure of schools in Kosovo needs to be considered
Mayor of Pristina, Shpend Ahmeti reacted this morning on the news that two people infected with coronavirus have been confirmed in Albania.
Through a post on his Facebook page Ahmeti said that the country should take measures in order to prevent the virus spread, while specifying that ban of public gatherings and school process suspension should also be considered in this regard.
“Once again – given the spread of the virus around us and considering developments in the affected countries, we’ve the opportunity to take these measures now. The ban of public gatherings and school process suspension should be considered quickly. No need to panic, just need a bigger space for its prevention,” he wrote.
