Vetevendosje’s deputy, Rexhep Selimi, said this evening that he believes in a coalition with the LDK.

According to Selimi, negotiations about an agreement with the LDK have faced a challenge that is not insurmountable, and he hence believes that this coalition will be reached.

“I think, yes. We look forward to coming days and I remain confident that this will happen. I’m inclined to trust our future partners. Its mutual intention to form a coalition,” he says for the Rubikon show on KTV.

Selimi also said that the LDK and VV are willing to make the change as, according to him, one cannot expect the change by the PAN parties, implying that there will be no cooperation with any other party.

“We’re willing to make the change and this change cannot happen with the same parties,” he stressed.

Unlike in 2004, when Selimi resigned from the AAK, because it entered the coalition with the LDK, this time Vetevendosje’s deputy will not act that way. Moreover, he now has different opinion for the LDK:  “It’s one of the entities we have had cooperation while in opposition and we’re now thinking to have the same cooperation in the government.”
