Following the meeting Mustafa explained that they discussed about the talks with VV on achieving coalition.

“It’s our practice to inform both, branch leaders and the leadership, and perhaps even the general council, about the progress made these days concerning meetings we’ve had with VV on possible government coalition. We need to transparent to our activists and citizens first. The negotiation process is ongoing and this process is not rigid. We’ve agreed so far on many issues, even though still remain to be discussed. We consider essential to increase mutual trust and respect. If this is missing then we will face problems later. We don’t have any barrier concerning certain positions. Even the issue of the president is matter of principles that we think should be raised between two partners, as it’s a matter of trust. Therefore, agreement on positions should be done in such manner that no party becomes super strong within coalition. This is our only request, there’s no personal request. We do not have presidential elections now, hence when the time comes the LDK structures will come up publicly with a name proposal. The name is not a problem, but let just have will and confidence to vote Kurti for prime minister.  We should not doubt, if we doubt on one another thinks will not go well, “ Mustafa concluded.
