The Basic Court in Pristina, in the “Eye of the People” case has convicted all eight accused persons for being part of the terrorist group.

The accused Avni Llumnica is sentenced with a unique 12 years of imprisonment; Sadri Ramabaja is sentenced with 5 years, including here the time already served in detention. Ragip Sallova is sentenced with 4 years of imprisonment; Bajrush Konjusha is sentenced with 3 years; Halim Halimi is sentenced with 3 years; Rexhep Topllana with 2 years; and Behxhet Luzha with 2 years of imprisonment.

Whereas the main accused, Murat Jashari, who’s being charged for wounding of former communist leader Azem Vllasi during murder attempt, it was decided to remain in a mental health institution for next 10 years, due to serious mental condition he’s suffering from.
