Montenegrin President, Milo Djukanovic, said that the Law on Religious Freedoms in his country was abused in order to desecrate Montenegro.

“Do not allow your religious freedoms to be abused in the way that has been abused in Montenegro in recent days, in order to desecrate our state,” Djukanovic said.

On the other hand, while speaking on nationalization, Djukanovic cited ideas like ‘Great Albania’ and ‘Great Serbia’.

“I’ve said that nationalism aiming to create a Great Serbia should have ceased as idea in 2006, even though there are still efforts and dreams for the re-composition of the Balkans, for making a Greater Serbia,  or a Greater Albania, or Croatia, while the rest of the nations to disappear. Hence, any attempt for creation of the Greater Serbia or Greater Albania can cause great tragedies. No one can treat Montenegro differently, except as an independent state,” Djukanovic explained.
