Brnabic calls Kosovars mountain people and terrorists in front of the EU Chief
Serbian Prime Minister, Ana Brnabic, said yesterday, in front of the EU Ambassador to Serbia, Sem Fabrizi, that situation in Kosovo is disturbing, because there is “people who just came out from mountains.”
Brnabic also said that she is afraid of the fact that she has to work with the worst kind of people, although, as she said, there no stronger response from the international community.
“What frightens me the most is that I work with the worst kind of people, with people who really just come out of mountains. Some of them are terrorists, who have not been convicted, although they were indicted at The Hague Tribunal. They were not convicted just because all witnesses were killed during the process. How can we know what they can do tomorrow? For them it’s the same whether is going to be war there or not – and this frightens me. This is what frightens me terribly. It frightens me that there is no stronger reaction from international community, “Brnabic stressed.
Brnabics’ statement triggered numerous reactions in Kosovo.
In a post on his Facebook page, Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Behgjet Pacolli, called for reaction of the international community, while saying that as long as he will be minister Brnabic will never enter Kosovo.
“Disgusting and completely unacceptable comments of Serbian Prime Minister, Ana Brnabic, in a presence of the Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Sem Fabrizi, about Kosovo…
I hope that Europe today understands with what kind of people we’re dealing with. With those who supported mass killings and are denying the war crimes committed by Belgrade, in former Yugoslavia. I say with full responsibility that as long as I’ll be foreign minister of the Republic of Kosovo Serbian Prime Minister will not be allowed to enter Kosovo, for as long as she will follow racist and illicit ideology against the people of Kosovo and between ethnicities that live here, “Pacolli wrote.
