The meeting between Kosovo’s political party leaders and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, is taking place in the Assemble building.

The dialogue with Serbia and normalization of relations between Pristina and Belgrade are expected to be the main topics of Boreell’s visit to Kosovo.

The PDK leader Kadri Veseli is not participating in the meeting with Borell. At a press conference Veseli clarified that he will not attend the meeting, as today’s meeting is meaningless because Kosovo doesn’t have its new institutions in place.

According to Veseli, his gesture needs to be perceived as political move and as alarm, because the process of the dialogue in the recent years has been degraded by the lack of more pro-active and determinative attitude of the EU, as the mediator in this process.
