Mayor of Mitrovica, Agim Bahtiri, has appealed to the LDK to find courage and reach the agreement on co-government with Vetevendosje.  According to his post on Facebook, Bahtiri is convinced that citizens are anxious and attached to his request.

“I appeal to the Presidency, the General Council and to the President of LDK, for the sake of the citizens, who on October 6th voted for change, to find the courage and reach the agreement on joint government with Vetevendosje before the inaugural session of the Assembly of Kosovo,” Bahtiri writes.

“I think that my request is supported by hundreds of thousands of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, who’re anxious. We must not disappoint them, as this time the citizens have shown determination to get out of the dark. Citizens have entrusted us with governance, so we must put their will in place, together,” he emphasizes.

“I appeal to the LDK to relinquish current interests and sign the agreement today,” Bahtiri appeals in his post.
