The head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova, was present last night in the Assembly of Kosovo, respectively at the meeting between Quint ambassadors, Albin Kurti and Isa Mustafa.

She told Klan Kosova that she just responded to Kurti’s invitation, while insisting that during the meeting ambassadors and other diplomats made clear that they will not interfere in any way in reaching coalition between the two parties.

According to Apostolova, Kosovo is a sovereign state, thus the issue of coalition is internal.

However, she also underlined that the EU urgently needs a local partner, meaning that it need a new government in Kosovo.
