In a statement for IndeksOnline, Deputy-chairman of the LDK, Agim Veliu, said that the issue of the coalition with Vetevendosje (VV) should be defined as soon as possible.

“This position was confirmed during the last meeting of our Presidency. We’ve had that stance, and nothing has changed. We thought it was best to finish it as soon as possible, so that we’ll have a positive result, and for both political entities to have time for doing their jobs on time,   as well as to have enough time for negotiating with other political subject, in case of other epilogue,” Veliu said.

Veliu also said that his party has nothing personally against Glauk Konjufca, and that nobody‘s contesting his personality, but they want to enter the coalition as equal rather than as submissive.

“However we, as the LDK, have an offer we think is right, hence we’re not ready to enter the coalition as damaged or subjugated, but as equal and balanced, where even the citizen’s vote is read correctly,” Veliu said for IndeksOnline.

Prior to this, Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo for Vetevendosje, Arbërie Nagavci, declared that the demand for Glauk Konjufca’s resignation is unfair and therefore unacceptable.

The mandatee, Albin Kurti, on the other hand, has two deadlines to form the new government, one set by the LDK, which should be accomplished by Sunday, and the other is the constitutional deadline, according to which by 4 February Mr. Kurti needs to submit the government for voting in the Assembly.
