The Presidency and the Government were formally notified on Jamaica’s recognition by Ambassador Çitaku

The Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo announced today that it “has been formally notified last night, by the Kosovo ambassador to Washington on its recognition by Jamaica.”

In its reply given to Periskopi the Office of the President says that the same notice for recognition was also sent by Ambassador Çitaku to the Office of the Prime Minister and to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

“The Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo was officially notified about the recognition by the State of Jamaica last night, by the Ambassador of Kosovo to Washington, Vlora Citaku. The ambassador sent the same notice to the Office of the Prime Minister and to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The president made the announcement public through his Twitter profile. For further information, please contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” the response from the Presidency Information Office states.
