Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, and Kosovo Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, were seen while laughing at each other at the Western Balkans Investment Summit, in London. However, this laugh, that may have offended the victims of the war crimes in Kosovo, is not the worst thing we have seen from this summit.

Far more important is what Mrs Brnabic said during her speech – carefully listened by Kosovo Prime Minister Kurti.

She underlined that Serbia created a very good environment for direct foreign investments, ranking it thus as the number one in the world, according to the Financial Times, Periskopi reports.

Brnabic earlier told the Serbian new agency Tanjug that “the decision by the Financial Times to rank Serbia so high came as a result of implemented reforms and as confirmation that Serbia today is totally different state compared with the one this government found in 2012.”

Further, according to United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD,) Serbia had become the second foreign recipient among transitional economies of foreign direct investments. According to the data, Serbia absorbed 52 percent of foreign direct investments, while all other Western Balkan countries received just 48 percent.
